FAQS & Reviews
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I include video in my wedding day? -I always hear brides say that they wish they would have done videography! Trust me when I say , the wedding day goes by in a flash and video gives you a chance to relive those angles that you may not have seen or remembered.
Do I have to sign a contract and what is the purpose of it? A contract will include all details, information, and what services are going to be provided between the videographer and the couple that is getting married. Too many times, I've seen footage or photos "disappear" and never reach the clients. It's a legal binding document that lays out the expectations of the day, timelines, and smaller details that are important to know.
How do I make the highlight reels and teasers? -I edit and cut my wedding teasers and highlight reels on a program called Adobe Premiere. The software allows me to edit, cut, color correct, and so much more in a efficient and professional manner.
How will you receive your videos? -Depending on your package varies how you receive your videos. You'll receive a link that will allow you to preview any footage before its released "to the public." This gives a chance to ensure that your video is made to your personal expectations and edits can be made if necessary. If your package includes raw video of your wedding day, it'll be mailed on a USB drive and backed up on external hard drives for safe keeping
Is it possible to make edits and changes to our highlight reel? Absolutely, I customize all my wedding reels depending on the preference, personality, and taste of the couple.
How long is my turn around time? Depends on your package. Other than the details listed in the packages for a guaranteed turn around time, it varies through 4-8 weeks in getting your project to you. A rule of thumb for videographers & editors is every minute of video they shoot, it takes 30-60 minutes to edit it every minute. Though it varies depending on the editor and their skills, editing takes the longest to complete. Think about color correction, audio embedding vowels, music, transitions, etc.
Should I prepare anything in advance for my videographer for my wedding day? This is one of the most important things to make your videography and photography teams aware of. I've had special dances, entrances, speeches of loved ones that have passed away, first touch, first look, special songs sung by close friends at the wedding during the ceremony, exchanges of feet washing, and much more. These things make your day special which makes it unique! I love learning about various traditions and cultures. Don't be afraid to
